Susan Angelina, 84, of Royersford died June 2nd surrounded by her loving daughters. She was born June 1, 1938 to her parents Susan and Job Dinsmore. She married Mike Angelina in 1958 and he preceded her in death in 1990. Susan is survived by her daughters Helen (Bill), Patty (John), Mary and her son Michael (Rosemary). Her 11 grandchildren Matt, Chris (Dana), Caitlyn, Melissa (John), John (Melissa), Michael (Amy), Jenny (Joe), Nick (Kelly), Lauren, Joe, and Bill were the lights of her life. She loved being a “Mom Mom” above anything else and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren whenever she saw them.
She became a great “Mom Mom” when Cole William was born in June of 2021. Her last words were to Cole when she sang him one of her best Mom Mom songs.
Susan is also survived by her brothers Jack and Don Dinsmore and her sisters in law Helen Angelina, Kathie Dinsmore, and Anita Dinsmore. She was preceded in death by her siblings Mary Wunder, Joe Dinsmore, Anna May Stanton, Robert (Bo) Dinsmore, George Dinsmore, Elizabeth King, and Edward Dinsmore.
Some of her fondest memories included time with her family rocking on the porch at Ocean City, New Jersey.
She also enjoyed annual visits to Avalon and Chelsea Manor in Atlantic City with Lee King and her other siblings. She loved going to the casino!
Susan was also known for her love of cooking especially her famous meatballs and iced tea.
More than anything, Susan loved being with her family and they brought so much joy to her life and in turn, they idolized her. Susan was a woman of faith and went to daily Mass when she could, prayed the rosary and novenas, and lit candles at church for other people’s intentions. We know she was welcomed in heaven by all who went before her and that we all have another special angel watching over us.
Visitation hours are 9 to 10:30 on Thursday, June 9th followed by Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 at Saint Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA.
