Santina Daly

Daly, Santina, age 90 of Ridley Park, passed away, after a short illness, surrounded by her children on June 28th. Born on September 30, 1931, to the late Salvino Marra and Santina (nee Grossi) Marra. She was preceded in death by her husband John Patrick Daly Sr., brother Salvino James Marra and beloved great granddaughter Emily Hope Conner. Her true joy in life was her family. She loved them so very much. Born in Philadelphia, PA she also lived in Ridley Park, PA (where all her children were born and raised), moved to North Cape May, NJ. then to St. Cloud, Fl. and finally back to Ridley Park, PA, where she and her husband spent their final years. She had several names from her friends and family including Tina, Mom, Mom-Mom and Nona and she loved hearing all of them. In addition to her love of those who were a part of her life, she was also quite a fan of all things Disney™, having lived near there for several years, she surrounded her house with all the memorabilia that she collected. She was survived by her sister Joanne Preston and devoted children John P. Daly Jr. (Patricia), Michael G. Daly (Kathleen), James N. Daly (Joyce), Santina A. Ratz (Paul), Katherine E. Austin (Arnold), Regina D. Wysocki (Richard) and Marcie A. Daly. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Mass on Thursday July 7, at 11am in the Church of St. Rose of Lima, 1901 Chester Pike Eddystone, Pa 19022, with a visitation in Church from 10am – 10:45am. Burial private preceded by Cremation with Confidence at Cavanagh’s.
