Patrick Quigley passed away on June 28.2022. Pat, formerly of East Lansdowne, lived in Secane, PA with Linda McCullough, his wife of 27 years. Pat is survived by a large loving family. He is one of 11 children of the late Thomas and Mary Anne ( Dougherty ) Quigley; Thomas A ( Diane ) Quigley Jr., Mary Anne ( George ) Christ, Rosemarie K. ( Frank ) McCormick, John P. ( Suzanne ) Quigley, Joseph D. ( Sheila ) Quigley, Kathleen A. ( Bill ) Tricocci, William J. ( Kathleen ) Quigley, Maureen P. ( Bill ) Ervin, Anne Marie ( Joe ) Mozzone and Steve ( the late Eileen M. ) Bradley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Pat and Linda shared a family of three daughters, Tina ( Dean ) McCullough, Denise McCullough and Kelly McCullough. Pat also adored the ten grandchildren they shared, Ashleen McCullough, Deanna McCullough, Elizabeth Wood, Kayla McFadden, Kira McFadden, Shanise Tolliver, Kassidy McFadden, Shakira Tolliver, Hanif McFadden Jr., and Salimah Tolliver.
Pat had a love for people and everyone sought his company. His gift was to just BE with you. He listened, he talked and he truly enjoyed everyone. Pat and Linda followed several Irish Bands and enjoyed Irish music and dance. His passion for sports led him to coaching, He coached softball, baseball and basketball in Upper Darby and Ridley. Pat would say ” Do you want to watch the game with me? ” And of course that game was the Phillies. Many times he would tell us his Mom was the number one Phillies fan but he was a close second.
Most recently, Pat worked for Delaware County In the Parks and Recreation Department. He was currently working at Upland Park and helped maintain The Redwood Community Center.
He was just Pat Quigley and he loved and was loved!
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, South Ave., Secane. Followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
