M. Lorraine Turvey, age 83 of Drexel Hill, PA passed away March 17, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late James & Carrie Fisher (nee Adams). Her beloved husband Edward Turvey passed away in 2005. She was the youngest of 7 children and was very close to her siblings: Betty, Helen, Edie, Dorothy, Jim and Ellie. She is survived by her three children Rodney N. Mize Jr. (Teresa), Lorraine E. Muldowney (Kevin) and Lawrence E. Mize (Patricia); 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She moved to Texas shortly after her marriage in 1961 and returned to the Philadelphia in 1975. After her return, she worked at Pierce Junior College in the admissions department for many years.

She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all her dogs and cats she took great care of over her years. She enjoyed her computer games and interacted with others on the game sites. She was very friendly and enjoyed being around others. She sang beautifully and enjoyed dancing. She will be missed greatly.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood, PA 19074. Prayers will begin at 11:00 am followed by interment in Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA.
