Lillian M. Perrone, a longtime resident of Ridley Park, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the age of 95.
Lillian was born in Rosedale, MN to the late Albert and Matilda Prier and was one of four children. She was raised in Polson, MT where she graduated from Polson HS.
In 1945, shortly after being married, Lillian relocated to Pennsylvania working several jobs throughout her career, and eventually retiring from Verizon.
Lillian’s hobbies included sewing, Irish dancing, crafting, bowling, playing cards, knitting, crocheting, and she even took up the game of golf at the age of 70. For over 20 years she worked the election polls at Leedom Elementary School. She was a longtime member of the Sodality Society of St. Madeline Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and always loved a big family gathering.
She is predeceased by her daughter Betty Hopkins(Leigh). She is survived by her 7 children: Jean Furminak(Fred), Marge Foust(Marv), Frank Perrone(Sandy), Larry Perrone(Kim), Michael Perrone(Alice), Diane Delman(Frank), Rob Perrone, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, brother Gilbert Prier, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Madeline Catholic Church, Ridley Park, PA on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 10:00 am. Face masks will be required for all in attendance.
