Jerry W. Palma passed away on July 13, 2022 at the age of 80. Jerry was born in Philadelphia, PA, raised in Springfield, PA and spent most of his life in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
Jerry is survived by his treasured wife Joan of 58 years, his son Jay (Mary Jane), two grandsons William (Kaitlyn) and Nicholas (Alyssa), 5 great grandchildren and his two nieces and nephew.
Jerry was a successful career salesman driving many miles across the United States to call on his customers. Jerry began his career selling men’s suits and retired from sales selling wholesale paper products. Jerry and his wife Joan enjoyed a lifelong hobby of “antiquing” together, eventually acquiring enough merchandise to open their own antique shop in West Chester. After finally retiring from sales and the antiques business, Jerry worked part time at the Media courthouse for several years.
Jerry was a kind and generous man whose family was very important to him. You could always find a picture of one of his grandsons or great grandchildren in his front shirt pocket to show to his many friends at Riddle Village.
Family and friends are invited to Jerry’s memorial visitation on Saturday July 23, 2022 from 10:00 to noon at the Cavanagh Patterson Family Funeral Home, 43 E. Baltimore Ave. Media PA, 19063. Int. Private.
In lieu of flowers just do something nice for someone for no reason at all because that’s what Jerry would do.
