Ganyne L. Rementer (nee Substalae) age 69, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2022 at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital. Daughter of the late William and Grace (nee Saravo) Substalae. Beloved wife of Michael Rementer, loving mother of Michael Jr., dear sister of Dana Brough (Charles); also survived by her sister in law Barbara Sellers, her Aunt Loretta Richardson, many cousins, nieces and nephews. A graduate of St. Maria Goretti Girls High School Ganyne enjoyed reading and going to the casinos. She also was a member and attended the American Hockey League Booster Clubs Convention which is held every year in a different teams city.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home 301 Chester Pike, Norwood. Followed by her funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Int. Private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to any Veterans or Childrens Charity in Ganyne’s name.

I am so very sorry to hear of Ganyne's passing. Ganyne was a beautiful person! I will always remember her big heart, & her generous spirit. The pride that beamed from her when she spoke of her family. And the good times shared. She will be missed

Ganyne was always kind and welcoming when we got to see her at Christmas time. This year we had just gone to "The Whistlestop Cafe" and had breakfast with her and the whole Family. So glad we will be able to remember her in this way.

Dear Rementer Family: I worked with Ganyne at CSS side by side for many years. We always had a lot of laughs. Ganyne was always thougtful and a very caring person. I was truly shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. I am so glad I got to cross paths with her in this life - I truly will never forgot her.

Although words will not take away the grief you feel from the loss of Gayne may this message bring comfort to you Michael, Mr. Mike, family members during this trying time. I am deeply saddened and I am with you.

May God bless her soul. Ganyne was a very caring and humble person. Her love for food and her humor were very uplifting. My deepest condolences to the Rementer family for their loss. May she rest in peace.
