Danny was one of my favorite students when I first began teaching at Ridley. He was always so cheerful and fun to be with. When my mother moved to Ridley Park, I would sometimes see him and we would share & reminisce about those long-ago days. I am so sad to learn that he died so young. May he find the peace he always sought.

My deepest condolences to the Callahan family during this difficult time. My heart hurts for you all, but especially you ,Terry, for the loss of not only your brother, but also your best friend, I know how difficult that can be. I've known Danny since the early to mid 80's, first from my Double Decker days, then my Maury's days and also my relationship with my bestie Jude (and Al). Danny was always so sweet, friendly and protective of me. He kept the weirdos away from me in the bars :) My best memory is of the time that Danny tried to teach me how to dance in Maury's, I am the world's WORST dancer but he really did try. He kept telling me to "let me lead", I don't think that I even knew that was "a thing". I was a bit inebriated at the time and was laughing hysterically. It was the only time that he got REALLY annoyed with me. I also loved that he always called me "Kar", the name that I only hear mostly when I visit PA/NJ and then only from my family and closest friends. I haven't seen Danny in years, since I've been in Colorado, but he has always been in my heart. Love and miss ya, Danny, rest in peace, kar
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
