Charles Zurlo, 80, formerly of Morton, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at his home in Smyrna, Delaware.
He was born and raised in Chester, lived for a time in South Philadelphia and then moved to Morton.
In 1965, he married Edith (Bixby), who survives.
He worked as a meat cutter for Shordays Market for 40 years and retired in 2007.
He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and football as well as crabbing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Donna (Mark) Schulcz and James (Lisa) Zurlo; grandchildren, Grace, Seth and Nicholas; a brother, Tom and sisters, Connie and Marlene. Also survived by sister-in-law, Margie (Ray) Richard and brother-in-law, George Bixby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pasquale and Alice Zurlo, four brothers, Mike, Tony, Jim and Pat and five sisters, Mary, Angie, Rosie, Elizabeth and Alice.
Family will be receiving friends from 10-11 AM, Friday, September 16, 2022 at Cavanagh Family Funeral Homes, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Edgewood Memorial Park, Glenn Mills.
