Charles P. Galanaugh, of Glenolden, PA passed away surrounded by his family on July 14, 2021, at the age of 78. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Francis J. & Rhea R. (Sigh) Galanaugh. Charles, also called Chalie or Chuck, worked for the United States Postal Service for 37 years as a letter carrier and later as a window clerk. Everyone knew Chuck, the mailman. Charles was always proud of his children’s accomplishments, but his greatest joy was when he became known as “Poppy”. You could always count on Poppy and Grandmom being in the audience for awards ceremonies, dance recitals, sitting in the stands for football games cheering on the boys or beaming from ear to ear watching musicals where the lead was played their granddaughter.
