Antonette “Toni” Frances (Vaccaro)Gaudiello, 77 of Tinicum Twp. (Lester) PA, passed away Sunday July 4, 2021 at the Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland. She was born March 22, 1944 in Chester, PA to the late Michael & Philomena (Conte) Vaccaro.
A life long resident of Tinicum Twp. Antonette attended Lester Elementary School and was a graduate of Ridley Park High School in 1963. As a young child Antonette learned how to play piano and was a very accomplished pianist with aspirations of becoming a concert pianist. While living on Seneca St. after marrying and having children, she could be heard playing her favorite piece Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven. She loved to attend orchestral concerts, musicals and the occasional Bee Gee’s concert!!
Antonette was employed throughout her life as a receptionist/secretary, but the job that she loved the most was the years she spent as a nurse’s assistant at Tinicum School in Essington. She loved taking care of all the students that would come to the office feeling sick.
Most of Antonette’s time was spent volunteering and taking part in all of her daughters’ school activities. For many years she was part of the Tinicum School PTA where she helped with fundraisers, Secret Santa, school plays and in her daughters’ classrooms as a Homeroom Mom. She was always there with a big smile on her face, happy to be apart of whatever was going on. At Interboro High School she volunteered with the Interboro Band Boosters, spending many years as their President. She loved spending time with her marching band family from fundraising, Tag Day, Hoagie Days, cooking hot dogs and hot chocolate at home football games for the Band, to chaperoning all competitions and games. You could find her sitting in the stands smiling and cheering on her daughters and all the kids. She was truly a Mom to all she met, family meant everything to Antonette.
Her daughters Antonette and Tina were her everything and she was a devoted, loving, and caring Mother. Once her grandchildren, Ray-Ray and Michele were born she was overjoyed to become a Mommom and she loved spending all of her time with them. At Christmas she was like a little kid, waking them up on Christmas morning watching them come out to see what Santa had left behind. She attended as many of Rays soccer games as she could, every one of Micheles dance recitals, and the home Appo Band competitions that both Ray and Michele were a part of. She was so proud of all of their accomplishments and her being able to attend both their High School graduations was something she dreamed about. Most recently while not being able to attend in person she was able to watch the live broadcast of Michele graduating with her BS in Biomedical Sciences. She was also very proud of Ray’s job as an IT Specialist and with Michele recently starting her job as an Associate Scientist 1.
In addition to her parents Antonette was preceded in death by her brother Palmer Vaccaro, her Aunt Frances, Uncles Joseph, Sam, and Jack Fasone, as well as her baby daughter Michele Marie Gaudiello.
Antonette is survived by her daughters, Antonette Marie Carlucci and Tina Marie Gaudiello. Her grandchildren Ray Anthony Carlucci Jr and Michele Antonette Carlucci.
